Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Vidyalaya (SVPV) has been shaping young minds since 1982, growing from a single school in Dahisar to a multi-campus educational institution across Mumbai and Thane. Our story reflects a legacy of quality education, innovation, and inclusivity - from primary schooling to junior college and beyond. Guided by the vision of our Founder Chairman, Dr. Kiran Patel, SVPV continues to nurture future-ready learners through academic excellence and holistic growth.

1982
Started First English medium school in Dahisar(East), Mumbai.
1984
Started Gujarati Medium.
1988
Started Marathi Medium - with Grant-in-aid.
1993
Shifted to a larger and modern school building in Dahisar(East), Mumbai.
1996
Started English Medium school in Mira Road(East), Thane.
1997
Started English Medium School in Borivali(West), Mumbai.
1999
Started Diploma Polytechnic College in Borivali(West), Mumbai.
2001
Shifted Mira Road School to a much bigger 3 acre campus in Mira Road(East), Thane.
2006
Started Singapore International School, Dahisar(East), Mumbai.
2010
Launched Junior College with Science and Commerce streams in Dahisar(East), Mumbai.
2012
Started Junior College with Science stream in Borivali(West), Mumbai.
2017
Launched Junior College with Science and Commerce streams in Mira Road(East), Thane.
2019
Started CP Goenka International School ( CBSE ) in Borivali(West), Mumbai.
2020-22
Successfully transitioned to an online and hybrid model of teaching during the Covid-19 pandemic.
2024
Started CBSE school in Mira Road(East), Thane.
2025
Started Skill Development courses, namely, Junior Software Developer, under "प्रमोद महाजन कौशल्य व उद्योजकता विकास अभियान (PMKUVA)" for Junior College Students, at Mira Road, at no cost to students.
